[Today there is a small Japanese child in oversized glasses dodging through the crowd. Somebody might want to help him out before he gets himself trampled.]

Hey, you down there! Like, what's up?

[ Okay, so helping little kids isn't exactly Iceland's speciality, and he rarely do such a thing, but today, he will have some mercy and drag Conan out of the raging crowd. Probably not in a very gentle manner, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. ]

Are you trying to get yourself killed or something? "I hate my life" and all that? But I thought that you were too young for that. [ /sarcasm ]

[Normally Conan would be commentating on the sheer absurdity of this turn of events, but at the moment he was simply to relieved to have the crowd clear out, even if it was only for a moment. He artfully changes to expression to the image of a lost and confused child.]

I think I'm lost! I can't find Ran-neechan anywhere!

[Conan hangs limply from the grip on the back of his shirt and attempts to twist around enough to look up at his rescuer.]

I didn't get stuck there on purpose! Where am I?

[Conan scowls up at her.]

No one is paying any attention here.

[Oh. That is a problem. Give Poland three seconds to ponder this before he gets bored with the pndering.]

Ohmigawd like that sounds absolutely awful. Have you tried calling her?

My phone isn't connecting.

[Have a Ran weaving through the crowd to catch up with you.]

Conan-kun!! Hey--wait up, Conan-kun! Mou!

[At the sound of the familiar voice Conan hastily turns around and dodges through the maze of feet in search of her.]

[Ran looks around, cupping her hand around her mouth and calls out again.]

Conan-kun!! Where are you?!

Ran-neechan!

[Conan squeezes through the crowd and finally comes into sight.]

[Ran drops to her knees and outstretches her arms as Conan appears through the crowd.]

Conan-kun! How'd you manage to get so far ahead of me? You should stay close!

Sorry, I just wanted to see what was happening.

[well, you are an awfully small child by yourself, Lion thinks; there weren't many of those around this area]

I'll try to be more attentive from now on. However... are you lost? This isn't a good spot for someone your age to be wandering through.

[ Well, not that rude, but something along that line. Actually, he just gripped Conan's hand and dragged him out of the crowd. He's a good hero alright. ]

After all, this boy probably just plain lost. Not from another world, like him. He can't assume things. ] Somewhere in London. Why? Where's your parents, anyway?

[...Such a rude way of asking. But Conan limply tosses his phone up.]

My parents are in America and the people who take care of me are in Japan. Where I should be. [He frowns in thought as he tries to figure out how he could have arrived in London with no memory of the journey involved.]

[ That cemented whatever earlier assumption he had about Conan being one of them, the unwilling immigrants from other worlds. But he still need to confirm it... ]

Well, do you remember how'd you get here in the first place? [ Crossed his arms, staring at the boy with subtle curiosity. ]

[There is some abusing the phone, and then he pulls out his own and tries to call the number from that one.
