[And some way down the street, another boy looks up from the newspaper that he was reading at a storefront and then puts it down to step out onto the pavement and look down the street.]

[Will didn't know much yet about this situation. Looking around, there was nothing to say which direction was better than another. But somehow he knew that that way was the one he should take. Without another thought he begins to make his way down the sidewalk.]

[It takes him a few more moments, but then he spots Will and starts to walk up the street towards the other boy. He doesn't want to call out for him, with how Bran always stands out everywhere Will should notice him soon enough.]

[There was something about Bran that demanded Will's attention. It had always been that way, even when he could not remember himself. Will approaches the other boy.]

Got here before me, did you?

Only by a few hours.

[He points at the newspapers.]
